Start your day gently from 10:30 a.m. and head towards the 6th district of Paris to visit the Shang Xia shop. Launched in 2010 in China, the brand continues its international expansion, particularly with its boutique in Paris.
Within its 70 square meters, Shang Xia combine luxury with handicraft thanks to a universe inspired by Chinese civilization. Signed by the architect Kengo Kuma, the space proposes : furniture, clothes, jewels and accessories which mixes raw materials and a unique Asian know-how of excellence.
It is a way of perpetuating a high-quality handicraft legacy.

Have a lunchbreak at Yoko restaurant
From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., 3 rue de la Bourse, discover a modern and design brasserie named Yoko. Designed by the Studioparisien team with Lauren B. Tardrew and Roman Jourdan, the decoration of the place distracts us from noticing that it is an Asian restaurant: bright red seats, wooden tables and large windows.
The menu keeps its Japanese feel and offers a gateway to Asia ! Menus are simple and revisit a lot of meals such as Suzuki ceviche, grilled black cod or even the trendy poke bowl.

Do some Asian design discoveries at Bows and Arrows
Continue your Asian design day in Paris by going in the 3rd district of Paris. Bows and Arrows boutique associate Japanese way of life with contemporary spirit.
On the spot, it is possible to find brands and homemade products of which Portor, Yoshida & Co, Suve, Time & Style, etc.
Every Thursdays, the store changes its arrangement and presents other new products. In the heart of Paris, these articles are exclusively made in Japan.

Finish your Asian design shopping at Mark’style Tokyo
In the very heart of the Marais, Mark’style Tokyo design boutique opened in Paris at the beginning of the year 2017. In this 80 square meters place are proposed articles for tableware, postcards, gadgets, fashion and decoration accessories. The Japanese lifestyle is present in the decoration of the place.
Designed by the architect Joseph Grappin, the boutique, known for its dynamic lines, is mixing raw and natural materials such as wood and concrete. A contemporary know-how which transposes the Japanese way of life allowing us to discover the cultural wealth of the country at the same time.
A fashion store, two design boutiques and a café-restaurant : all you need to make great discoveries around Asian design at the very heart of Paris. Have a nice visit !
