On your way to a design trip with ATù agency
In the 10th district of Paris, 51 Rue des Vinaigriers, ATù agency has opened a showroom in which Europe of design meets. Take an hour or two of your time to travel in this place open to architects and individuals.
Once advised and oriented, you’ll have the opportunity to discover : Italy with Danese Milano, Gufram, the innovative creativity of Edra, the universe of ICF company, the minimalism of MDF Italia, Mogg, Valsecchi, Fornasarig, or Colos, the British Tom Dixon, the iconic Anglepoise, the extravagances of Marcel Wanders for Moooi and Moooi Carpets, the Belgium of Extremis, the Spanish Systemtronic or Viccarbe, the french know-how of Bosc and Mustache, etc.
In the ATù agency showroom, you can find the Anglepoise, Colos, ICF, Viccarbe and Moooi carpets collections. A mix of design influences who are not to be missed.
Once impregnated with this brew, continue the itinerary in a restaurant with influences across the Atlantic.
Eat at the Paris Texas restaurant and feel american
Still in the 10th district of Paris, but located at 74 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, the Paris Texas restaurant is the new address of Paris New York restaurants (PNY). From noon to 3 pm, enjoy burgers and barbecues in an establishment interior signed Cut Architectures.
Its interior design is crossed by a copper and brass butcher rail, support of luminous globes and loudspeakers, which creates a sparkling light signal visible from the street. The bar, oak monolith and rough stone plates, supports leather bench seats, create a subtle mix of matters for an atypical and warm space.
Third restaurant of its founders Rudy and Graf, enjoy its “made in USA” atmosphere and enjoy Texas-style smoked beef ribs. A further Atlantic immersion assured.
Continue your exploration of the 10th district of Paris and visit Northern Europe by discovering a shop.
Discover Danish life at Nordkraft Concept Store
The first concept store dedicated to Danish life, this shop is managed by Camilla Schousboe, a young Danish woman who has adopted Paris. Enjoy an early afternoon to learn more about the selection of contemporary designers and creators presented.
Sober asthetics, noble matters, we find in Camilla choice the essentials of the Grand Nord lifestyle through its selection of furniture, accessories, clothing and decorative objects. Normann Copenhagen, Mater Living, Menu, Gubi, AddInterior or Andtradition are all available from Nordkraft.
Treat yourself with a gourmet break by visiting the 11th district and discover a famous French chef chocolate factory.
Travel tastefully in the Cyril Lignac chocolate factory
Draw you up at 25 Rue Chanzy to visit the Cyril Lignac chocolate factory. Your design trip continues to delight your taste buds. Cyril Lignac, associated with his partner Benoit Couvrand since 2011 and the creation of La Pâtisserie shop, opens a space entirely dedicated to chocolate. Its visual identity was also assisted by the creative agency BEPOLES.
In this shop, a wide choice of chocolate delicacies is proposed to satisfy all cravings of cocoa amateurs as those of the insider’s ones. They are to be enjoyed on site at the big hosts table or to take away for the hurry people.
Chocolate bars are homemade in the chef’s workshop in Saint-Ouen. They are composed of ingredients specially selected for their quality: great vintage from Ecuador, Trinidad, Papua or Venezuela. A taste trip that will delight chocolate lovers.
Then come back on your steps and return to the 10th district of Paris. Your journey ends in a hotel room.
Sleep in a Scandinavian room at the Citizen Hotel
Near Canal Saint-Martin, book a room at the Citizen Hotel. Constructed as a design and eco-friendly shop hotel, it stands on six floors and twelve rooms, all overlooking picturesque views. From a 30m² junior room to a 50m² private apartment, choose what kind of room you want.
The entire building is signed by the designer and architect Christophe Delcourt who made sure to keep only the essential for each room, giving birth to modular spaces in order to be functional.
Just as micro-architectures, rooms are based on a decoration dominated by white color and wood. An oxygenated atmosphere, the result of a marked Scandinavian influence.
A showroom, a shop, a restaurant between Paris and Texas, a gourmet chocolate factory and a hotel with Scandinavian inspiration : only places with rich foreign influences. Have a nice trip !
