Tools Galerie is no longer, it has been replaced by Tools Galerie 2.0! Leaving the right bank and the Rue Vieille du Temple behind, Loic Bigot moved to 90 sqm on the left bank on the Rue Montalembert where he inaugurated the space with ‘Stools for Tools’, with Guillaume Delvigne’s stools inspired by mooring pontoons – Chaos, Magma, Rift and Cairn. In wood, bronze, marble, granite and leather the stools reflect the new direction – that of editing beautifully made objects – of a gallery that is facing a dwindling market for young unknown designers. In its space designed by Cyprien Bru of B&C Architecture the gallery will continue to support young designers and artists.
