Maryline Brustolin (formerly at FR66, Paris design store) has returned to her first love, contemporary art by opening the Salle Principale art gallery. Behind a beautiful glass façade in a building by Lacaton and Vassal, every year she proposes the work of five artists from different generations, resulting in constructive and innovative dialogue. The interior architecture is the work of Patrick Bouchain. In this 70 sqm space of brushed concrete, he placed poplar wood display walls, rather like a theatre decor there to receive and accompany the artists in their work of reflection. So far the artists have included Lois Weinberger, Anne Vigier and Frank Apertet, Dominique Mathieu, Stéphane Barbier-Bouvet and Matthieu Saladin.
