After first two shops in the 10th district and right in the heart of the Marais, the French pastry chef, Christophe Michalak, chose the neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The interior designer from Lyon, Richard Bagur, fitted out the space by respecting the peculiar codes of the brand Michalak: a white space purified with a window shop in Corian© and stainless steel. A radical design to reveal the very colored and atypical sweet cakes from the pastry cook, who knew how to modernize the French cake pastry by sharp collaborative choices. The graphic designer Pierre Tachon of the agency Graphic Care shaped the visual identity of the brand’s packagings on the theme of super heroes, with very playful characters.
