White walls, polished grey concrete floors, the Parrot boutique interior does not interfere with the experiments going on inside. Designed by Philippe Starck as an experimental space, it invites visitors to do real life tests of the “Zik” headphones, the “Zikmu” speakers, to imagine one is behind the driving wheel with a free-hands system with vocal recognition, or behind the pilot controls of an ‘AR.Drone 2.0’, or bluetooth quadricopter for adults who’ve never quite grown up and who are in search of new toys. Everything here exudes the modernity and new technologies of a given time, the image wall of 25 screens, the backlit transluscent Corian® table and the listening room. A mighty demonstration of know-how.
