LIBRAIRIE LE CABANON
Mario Poulet et Bahareh Azimi were inspired by Le Corbusier’s holiday cabin at Roquebrune Cap-Martin on the Côte d’Azur when they went to design a bookshop specialised in architecture, design, urbanism and landscaping, in the Parisian ‘village’ of the Marché d’Aligre. New books, classics, old books, rare or out-of-print books published by Linteau, La Villette or Parenthèses, share the bookshelves with specialist reviews and true pearls on photography, cinema, youth and cooking. The original 1935 edition of ‘The Radiant City’ by Le Corbusier rub shoulders with ‘The Three Little Pigs’ published by Hélium who are chased by a big bad wolf on one of Philippe Starck’s motorbikes.
