Tatiana Levha learned her trade at L’Arpège and L’Astrance. With her sister Katia, she has opened a restaurant in which they serve a series of highly original dishes with a subtly exotic twist that can perhaps be put down to their Polish and Filipino roots. On the menu, cod with grapefruit, sesame and roast vegetables, sweetbreads with Artichoke and preserved lemon, pink praline tart with ribbons of raw rhubarb and yoghurt ice cream. If the exterior of what used to be a local bar doesn’t hold out much promise, the interior is simply decorated with wooden tables and chairs, a green banquette, a black and gold lacquered bar and the bare walls are a counterpart to the painted ceilings and mouldings.
