LE CUBE ROUGE
The renowned gallery of furniture from the 50’s and 60’s, the Cube Rouge, celebrates its tenth birthday. The charm of the place emanates from the contagious enthusiasm of Jérôme Godin and his unparalleled talent for nding and presenting furniture pieces from the 50s and 60s selected with precision and rigor. One can nd pieces by Jacques Hitier, Marcel Gascoin, René Gabriel, Pierre Paulin, and Charles Eames as well as anonymous pieces. To mark the tenth birthday of the gallery, Jérôme Godin launches ‘By LeCubeRouge’, a new editing activity as an extension of his passion for furniture. His rst co- edition is the “12Bis”, an armchair in cantilevered plywood designed by architect Charles Godillon in 1960 and never produced.
