In the shadow of the masterpieces of the greatest museum of the world with view on the Ieoh Ming Pei’s Pyramid, Gilbert Costes’ café is a haven of luxury and escapism. Le Café Marly is inspired by Napoleonic interiors – the renovation was done by Yves Taralon – with Empire colours for walls and ceilings. Lights and furniture were designed by Olivier Gagnère and the terrace, under the arcade of the Louvre, breathes of eternal rest.
