BELLOTA BELLOTA MARAIS
The Chinese investment fund Cathay Capital has invested in the development of Philippe Poulachon’s Bellota Bellota boutiques that specialise in international gastronomic products. Iberico ham, the star product, is showcased in a language created by Cristiano Benzoni and Sophie Tuilhier’s REV agency, the emphasis being on all things Gourmet and the seductive effects of the ageing process. Natural oak, aged metal, white tiling – DTile by Droog Design unite to get the message across. In the centre stands a Giralda, a glass case inspired by the totems in Spanish cities, containing the brand’s most prestigious morsels.
