The Italian brand Arflex, founded in 1951 by three technicians – Aldo Bai, Pio Reggiani et Carlo Barassi – defectors from the Pirelli firm and specialists in rubber and elastic bands, has opened a Showroom En in Paris two doors down from its favourite distributor Siltec. The space was renovated by the architectural studio RMGB who far from creating a white cube decided to reveal the different levels of the space as though it were a Milanese palace. Furniture pieces by the great masters Prospero Rasulo, Carlo Colombo and Carlo Bartoli are distributed over a granito floor while the young generation is represented by Claesson Koivisto Rune and Luca Nicchetto.
